Dennis Knicely - The King of Organics

Dennis, an honorary Nutrition Doctor, is known as: "The Guru of Raw Foods" -M-6 Capital National TV, Paris, France... "My favorite chef" - Vegan Congressman Dennis Kucinich, 2004 Democratic Presidential Candidate... "Oh my God!" - The most common quote from numerous inportant people when experiencing the 5-star soup, and following entrees. Hosting events for years & co-founder of the Living Light House with Don Kidson, Dennis managed the kitchen when "Raw" by Juliano was written there. He later co-wrote a raw recipe book [unreleased] with Sara, a 67 year-old Brahmin Vegetarian Chef from India, combining the best of Eastern And Western styles.
Numerous events were sold out, featuring among the top vegetarian activists and nutritionists alive... He inspired Fabes All Natural Bakery to create their famous Raw Bars. Recipes for Govinda's Raw Bakery were developed in his kitchen. He later founded Malibu Raw at Malibu Phoenix.
As Head Chef and Manager of the Living Light House in the 1990's, Dennis Knicely was a major inspiration for culinary experts Ursula with Jerry, of Good Mood Food in Huntington Beach, to start a leading Raw Food Restaurant. Dennis's goal is to assist those ready in finding and maintaining optimum health, and welcome other Great Ones to share their Wealth of information to those ready to receive... "Change the World, one bite at a time".
We are looking at a whole new way of approaching the healing process. First we must learn to look at ourselves and acknowledge what we have done to be the way we are. Then we can approach the causes and effects to make necessary adjustments. One can facilitate a lasting and better way. No two people are alike, and so no one healing modality works the same for all persons. In respect to all humans and the Spirituality that exists in all people, we are deeply humbled and making a conscious effort to remind each other how important it is to be patient with ourselves and start with an extra "apple, then salad" a day. When you see and feel a difference, that is just the beginning of a most incredible turn-around.
Dennis's background in spirituality, nutrition and the healing arts has covered over 30 years, with training, treatments, and ceremonies shared with among the who's who of important people. Here is just an abbreviated biography of a diverse and unparalleled research:
His Holistic Vegetarian Lifestyle started as a teenager. At the time he didn't personally know anyone else in the "Veggie / Alternative" lifestyle. It was a Spiritual as well as a health related decision, & drastically changed his perception.
By 1972, after becoming a Vegan, he could clearly breathe through both nostrils for the first time in his life. That same year he studied with the Secretary of The Swedish Massage School in Chicago, who acknowledging Dennis as a "born natural", taught him the precepts of Swedish Massage in return for trading treatments.
In 1973 he pooled his resources with some like-minded friends & bought 750 acres near Summertown, Tenn. next to The Farm, a 1000 acre community that was totally vegan, & at the time as "hip" as the country life could define. "We built our own laundry, library, mechanics garage, food store, clothing store, huge gardens, etc... This was literally a college-level education in becoming independent & practical minded".
As a "best kept secret" in L.A. (intentionally avoiding the media spotlight), Dennis Knicely has hosted numerous sold-out dinners here as well as catered events with many amazing people. He was christened the "Guru of Raw Food Chefs" by French TV, when he made a vegan/raw, wheat free pizza out of a dehydrator, and it tasted like a cheese pizza! He worked, taught, & learned with the top raw chefs, and feels qualified to streamline this diet as well as design full health & treatment programs to virtually anyone's personal needs.
"My broader vision includes an entire Holistic Health and Rejuvenation Retreat with a program to not just cleanse - also to rebuild and learn how to Become Your Own Doctor. For over 20 years I have avoided main-stream diagnosis, treatment, etc.; opting in all cases for holistic and natural healing modalities along with the vegan / raw diet, and using "light consciousness techniques" which are mostly highly guarded ancient and timeless procedures".
